What is the product you may ask?

Argan Oil

This new health product on the market is a plan oil based product and is produced from the seeds of the Argan tree, which is found only in the North African area of Morocco, it’s typically used for cooking and other additives in this culture, although recently it has been found to contain good nutrients which can be used for keeping the heart healthy and well as in top end personal care products.

The fruit itself is relatively small and is round or oval in shape, it consists of a rather thick skin or peel which protects the fleshy fruit within the plant, there is also a very hard-shelled nut that represents about 25% of the total weight of this fruit. The oil is typicall derived from this nut and extraction processes can yield as little as 30% all the way up to 50% of the oils that are contained within the 3 kernels of this fruit. The extraction process works by drying in the fruit in open air drying fields and then carefully remove the fleshy pulp, this is the traditional method of extraction, there are others which allow the mechanical removal of the flesh without actually drying everything.
